Acid Staining on New Floors and Walls

Application to existing concrete floors:

Concrete has evolved from something gray and hard that we used under our carpets and wood/tile floors to where it is today. New concrete applications are endless and can be as creative as the person applying the trade or the home owners imagination by asking " could we do this, or what about this wall" . Interior designers, and their knowledge of concrete possibilities are credited in bringing concrete floors to a new level.
"Necessity is the mother of invention" as such; a person who is looking for an economical tile or slate like look without the grout lines or cost... well, an acid stained floor may be for you. Acid staining concrete is done after the appropriate curing time. Various colors are available today with more choices being created every year. New places for acid floors are: finished residential basements and main floors done in concrete with radiant heat, entrance ways, garage floors, outdoor patios the list goes on including vertical retaining walls and buttresses. art work can always be introduced, if desired; however, a solid color floor or wall is never a wrong choice. Rob always likes to be involved from the blueprint stage Many design and cracking concerns can be dealt with early on in efforts to end up with a floor that is very very nice instead of a floor that is so so. Small or subtle input from a person with an experience eye for the end product is essential in having an exceptional end product.
